Whats different about Deluxe Backgrounds?
Why do we charge something per downloaded background?
Our conviction: We don’t grab our wallpapers off the web and give them away for free. Because behind every photo or artwork is an artist who’s done it. We believe that artists should get paid for the great work they are doing. Our wallpapers are 100% licensed from their artists directly or through our licensing partners. And they get paid a fair share of the revenues. That’s why we charge a small fee for each wallpaper you download.
The application itself is free, so you can browse all backgrounds and categories.
The preview images in the app are slightly reduced in quality to allow faster browsing. It might still take some time for categories to load. We recommend using a Wifi connection for browsing the backgrounds. Browsing while only connected to the mobile network, not Wifi, does also work, but might be somewhat slower.
New content will be added regularly, so check back for updates!
For Deluxe Home Screens & Backgrounds you need iOS 4 or 5 on an iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4/4S, iPad, iPod Touch 3rd generation 32 and 64 GB (late 2009) or iPod Touch with Retina Display!
iPhone 3G or other iPod Touch models unfortunately do not support this feature!

A lot of efforts has been put into each wall paper... These wall paper are not easy to find and i believe the makers should be compensated for the hard work put into this app..

Why do they make us pay it says the app is free you cant say something is free when its not... Maybe downloading the app is free but YOU NEED TO SAY THE BACKGROUNDS ARNT!!!!!!

Some bad moments
Yeah your artists may have drawn the background images themselves, but their ideas are definitely not any different than the ones that are out there for free! What a waste of time!
What a waste downloading this!! It says FREE but NOT you need to pay $.99!!
.99 per graphic? Insane. The pear is ripped off from icarly yet they want a buck for it? For one? So not worth it. I could see .99 for a category maybe, though I wouldnt pay that, but a buck for one background.

This is the worst app ever! You have to pay for a stupid freaking backround! And half of them are in other apps for free! I wish I could give this app -10 stars!
Wow a dollar for 1 home screen how stupid get to get way cool wallpapers search up cool wallpapers in the app store and its called wallpapers hd they give you free wallpapers and the have millions of them!!!
